Tap at Kamikaze in Osaka. A yellow matte gold with a sour a rustic red wine fruity aroma. Medium bodied and acidic, the taste is drinking vinegar, red grapes and white grapes. A nice fruity sipper. Give this a try.

Keg at BD Mighty Boosh, 24/11/17. Golden pour with a decent off white head. Nose is citric peel, light funk, mellow Belgian yeast tones, light wood, apricot jam, soured green berries. Taste comprises pissy citric shreds, vanilla, grains, damp straw, buttery liquid popcorn, funk, green berry jizz, stale bread. Medium bodied, fine carbonation, semi drying close with a light acidic pinch. OK sour but not feeling a huge amount of love for this Juan.

Sample at Beer Meets Wood on 09/23/2017. Hazy pale golden color with a medium thin white head that evaporates steadily to an outer ring. Short strings of lace. Aroma of funky yeast, fruit and malt. Medium body with flavors of funky peach, brett yeast, oak and malt. The finish is fruity and funky with a fruity aftertaste. Pretty good overall.

Keg at Rustin Tap. It pours lightly hazy dark blonde - amber with a medium white head. The aroma is fresh, funky, brett, zingy lemon - lime, gooseberry, white grape, sour candy, vanilla and oak. The taste is crisp, tart, tangy, sour candy, white grape, lemon sherbet, limeade, wood, vanilla, funk, decent mouth - pucker, gooseberry, must, minerals, touch lactic and a hint of acidity with a dry, sherbety finish. Medium body and moderate, foamy carbonation. Really good fun. Fruity and very very drinkable without the dreded high levels of acidity. Tasty.

375 ml bottle. Funky nose, grapefruit, leather, wood. Hazy gold color. Nice spritzy carbonation. Interesting sweetness remaining in back and great barnyard comes through as it opens up. Great fruit, good level of sour. A decent gueuze style.

Draught at Ginger Man Boston, 3/31/17.
Lightly-to-moderately hazy, brass-maize-golden body topped by a medium-sized, beige head with moderate retention.
Souring bacteria in the nose mix with light honey-like malts and a touch of oak. Somewhat high on the acetic acid which is compounded by the poignant, rich, honey character of the malt and toasted oak. No alcohol or flaw, however.
No idea how it doesn’t come through in the aroma, but the flavor was a vile mix of astringent grass, with butyric vomit and milky notes. Slick texture, undercarbonated. Sickly sweet. Just awful. What the hell happened here.
