Cask handpull at The Sutton Arms Clerkenwell. Hazy orange gold colour lasting cream head. Very citrus hoppy. Good nick. Maybe coming t9 end of barrel as a little flat but the flavour is excellent tangerine pith really good

Cask at the Southampton Arms, London on 15th July 2026. Cloudy amber with shallow, dull foam and scant lacing. Malty with sweet fruits in aroma. Rich and tangy citrus in-mouth and a blend of citrus notes dominate the finish. Full to medium bodied with a smooth mouthfeel.

Deadication beer to Huey Newton, co-founder of the Black Panther Party, died on this day in 1989. More than hoppy golden ale in my opinion, on the boundaries of pale ale. Nevertheless it's a sessionable, mildly hazy brew with hints of tropical fruit.
