"Very bright was that sword when it was made whole again; the light of the sun shone redly in it, and the light of the moon shone cold, and its edge was hard and keen. And Aragorn gave it a new name and called it Andúril, Flame of the West."

On tap at Ambasada, Zagreb Thursday 11th September 2025 at the end of Fins walking tour of the city. A style mix by the looks of things, nice mouthfeel, soapy white head, nice easy drinker, fruity with tropical fruit, no real bitterness, like it but wouldn't have had this down as a Pilsner NZ, more NE style but certainly with a twist.

Can, 0.5l. Hazy, murky yellow pour, three finger soapy white head, long lasting, lots of lacing on the glass. Crisp and refreshing nose, lemon, lime, grassy notes, yeast. Tropical notes in the background.
Light to medium body, soft carbonation. Smooth mouthfeel and texture, lightweight but creamy, silky, some chewiness to it. Smooth and easy drinkable. Nicely balanced juicy bittersweet taste. Aroma of yeast, grassy hops, citrus peel. Tropical fruits, pine, white grapes, oats. Herbal and peppery notes, light onion. Medium lasting finish, dry, lingering hop bitterness, very juicy.
This was tasty.

Can, thx Hrabren for sharing! Hazy full yellow body, off-white head. White grape, floral and NZ herbal aroma, vaguely dank, low chalky notes. Bit rubbery-resinous dry taste, herbal, white grape raisins, juicy really, ending bitterish. Tons of hops, even the lowest traces of hopburn, but just works as a whole - atypical but by all means tasty. It has a hop profile I might not necessarily like on a more full, NE body, but with a lager yeast it makes more sense somehow and just works.
Update: On tap at Beerdello, it has even better expressed hops, more citric and grape notes, the body more sparkly, lovely. If not for light hopburn it would be an easy 7.8.

0.5 l can from Ambasada, Zagreb, shared with Marko. Cloudy yellow, small white head. Aroma is intense NZ hop profile, dried herbs, spice, chive, white peach, white grapes, hint of zest and grain. Light to medium body, soft texture, juicy, soft tartness, light bitterness, moderate carbonation. Flavour is citrusy, zesty, grapefruit, herbs and malts. Refreshing, smooth, juicy. Good balance. Finishes dry with hints of bitter herbs.
