Chalumeaux with this bottle share. Aroma is lemon juice, grass clippings, really only get hops here. The flavor as the lemon, and grass with the addition of oak and gin barrel (flower hint). Not overly sour or tart. The texture is watery with a thin light body. Overall, nothing about this really works for me.

Sample at Beer Meets Wood on 09/23/2017. Hazy golden color with a medium thin white head that dissipates quickly to an outer ring. Short strings of lace. Aroma of oak, funky yeast and hops. Light to medium body with flavors of brett yeast, fruity hops, oak and malt. The finish is oaky and funky with a lemon and yeast aftertaste. Pretty good overall.

Bottle at home. 2016 vintage. Hazy yellow appearance with a white head. Aroma has tropical fruity hops, a bit of dankness, some funk, grapefruit, and some resin. There’s a little cheese in the flavor and overall, it does pack a decent sour bite. More sour than a typical dry hopped sour but not crazy acidic. Easy drinker with lots of guava, pineapple, and grapefruit. Pretty damn nice fucken beer.

Full body for this type of beer. I’m liking the brett. The el dorado lend a nice, juicy balance.

Pours pale yellow into a tulip. Bright white head with little retention recedes to hug rim. Sour lemon and apple aromas. Crisp with apple, lemon and crust upfront turning mildly sour before the medium-length pith finish.
