Brewed with a punchy blend of Simcoe, Cascade, Columbus, and Centennial hops, this multi-award-winning IPA delivers everything you want from a true West Coast-style IPA, bright, bold, and refreshingly bitter.

Big offwhite head. Clear yellow body with visible particles and strong carbonation. Vague resiny fruity aroma. Dryish caramelly toffee and earth taste with floral citric notes. Mid-bodied. Mild mouthfeel. Dry fruity orangey aftertaste with mealy notes. It’s ok, but not great. (0.5l bottle, The Turnhouse, Edinburgh airport.)

Bottle from Hippo Beers, Bottle Shop, Glasgow, consumed at home/village hall function, Saturday 27th June 2015 A little bit of sediment on the pour, some toffee, but lots of crystal malt. This is ok but rather too sweet, in fact really sweet, hops are there but they are drowning in a sea of toffee and malt flavours A6 A3 T6 P3 Ov12 3.0

Bottle from Oddbins Beer Shop, Blackheath. Amber pour with a swiftly vanishing white head. Honey, citrus, apricot and light spice aroma. A twist of sweet citrus and wheat in the flavour. Easy drinking and refreshing. Bitter, fruity finish. Good.

Keg at the CP&K Pimlicoco, 12/12/14. Clear copper hues topped with a moderate off white swirl. Nose is biscuit, caramel, citric peel, malt notes. Taste comprises caramel malt, vanilla, bitter orange, straw. Medium bodied, fine carbonation, semi drying close with light bitterings. So so, lacks hops, trumped up ESB!

Very hazy gold beer, small white head. Palate is smooth and modest fine carbonation. Light smooth malt, slightly sweet. Mellow orange, traces of clementines and peach. Light finish. Easy going.

500ml bottle. Pours an orange amber colour, foam white head that retains and aroma of floral orange hop resin. Taste is sweetish biscuity malt caramel balanced with a mellow fruity orange citrus & slight pine hoppy bitterness. Smooth mouthfeel, medium bodied, soft carbonation, dry woody bitter finish. Very drinkable IPA.

500ml bottle shared at home. Pours a clear honey orange with decent white long-lasting head. Aromas of orange zest and marmalade, strong caramel malt, apricots. Taste is a good balance of bitter and sweet. Good take on the modern IPA.

50cl bottle from Oddbins London Bridge. Hazy orange gold colour thin white head. Good hoppy aroma. Now that’s a good ipa. Wow, really impressed. Good hops, good bitterness, fresh hoppy and that’s a decent IPA.

Bottle - Citrus and piney hops nicely balanced with malts. Clear copper with a thin white head. Pine, resin and orange dominate with a nice subtle bitterness and a malt backbone. Overall pretty nice balanced IPA, but not as hoppy as the labeling suggests.
