Can - hazy light gold - what I appreciate about what Grimm is doing in the hazy ipas I have tried from them so far is that they are not losing sight of what an ipa should be - bitter - we want complex hop flavor, sure, but so much of the hazy trend has tried to squash bitterness - not the case here - loads of citric and herbal bitterness on the tail end - soft body, creamy texture - lots of tropical notes on this one - finishing spicy and herbal - white pepper - alcohol is well-masked - it’s nice!

An off white head over a rich golden body. The NZ and Aussi hops produce a lively fresh tropical lead taste. Melons, kiwi and orange flavours are well supported by a slightly caramel bread malt backbone. Slick mouth feel and lots of staying power. I’d have been even more impressed if they had done all this with only 6% ABV rather than 8.

Can from HOTM. Canned June 21, consumed December 21. Hazy orange, moderate sized white head that's holds its form with nice lacing. Aroma of orange, mango, light floral and pine. Quite bitter and resinous with a fruity mango and citrus, some herbal elements. Very good level of complexity but I'm not a big fan of resinous IPAs so can't give a massive score.

Real nice juice from Grimm. Busy day, body weight exercises, hockey for 90mins with limited subs, cooking, cleaning, yard work, then a busy four hours at RBS. Hoping for early bed and a quick shore trip tomorrow.

Canned 2/28/22, drunk 3/23/22. Moderately hazy, peachy-golden with a large, frothy, white head that steadily recedes to cover/ring. Soft and fruity with peach, tangerine, melon and light floral notes giving a heady experience atop a very sparse malt bill of heavy cracker. With all the other hops in here, the Galaxy seems obscured. Seems rather timid, though it is almost a month old. No alcohol, flaw, or twang. Soft, malty, very well-attenuated with a nonetheless strongly bitter/acidic element that is quite resinous and slowly takes over the palate as it moves from peach/papaya to more resin and heavy sour citrus. Feels like full attenuation with no comforting malt to support all this resin and sour citrus character. Not really much juiciness to speak of either. Not every IPA has to be a malt-rich and/or juice bomb, but this is very unbalanced, acidic/astringent and punchy/twangy on the end. Dumped it after a few sips.

Can shared in London - big thanks to Tips. Pours murky orange with a foamy, white head. Nicely dank, with notes of melon, soft rindy bitterness, some hop chalk. Medium to full bodied with fine carbonation. Lightly warming finish, more rindy citrus, mango. Good stuff.
