Can: Totally clear gold with a small white head. Corn, grain aroma. Sweet, sugary corn and grain malt taste. Exceedingly watery and bland... Thankfully none of those sharp, awful notes you sometimes get in cheap Mexican beers.... Not good, but expected worse.

24 ounce can purchased from gas station in Gibson City, IL. Corn and barley malt aroma. Golden yellow with nice head. Sweet corn, barley malt, and mildly bitter hay flavor. Another cheap lager - a bit worse than the average Mexican lager.

Not bad, its a clean but thin mexilager. Golden pale, somewhat grainy with just a light hop finish

In the can @ home, picked up in a mixer sixer @ Supermarket Liquor. Pours a clear yellow appearance with a thin white head. Lemon, corn, light bread, and a bit of twanginess in the aroma. Thin body. A touch metallic. Flavor of light fruit and chex mix. Corona is better.

Sort of a sticky, grainy pale swill with a lot of fusels, and sundry industrial by-products. Not exactly the greatest of Mexican beers.

Bottle from Total Wine in Folsom, CA. Pours pale gold with a white head. Aroma is bread with arguably noble hop notes. Med minus body. Flavor is grainy/malty, and I’m not sure there’s any detectable hop. Not at all obnoxious, but not at all worthy of the label BEER.

It’s a forgettable pale lager like so many others. Slight hints of cardboard and a dry finish. Works okay if you’re desperately thirsty but not sure why they market so many essentially the same pale lagers in Mexico. At least the clamato beer was a grand experiment and memorable. This isn’t.

Appearance: Clear golden color with a small white head. Some lacing.
Aroma: Mild malty and mild hoppy.
Palate: Medium body. Moderate sweet and a moderate bitterness. Average carbonation.
Taste: Mild caramel malty, mild hoppy and a bit waterish.
Overall impression: Maybe ok under a burning sun on a lovely beach with some half naked ladies.
Personal stats: Bottle from a workmate.
