0.33 l bottle from ’Speciaalbierpakket.nl’, best before March 2018. Minimally hazy, dark reddish amber with a medium large, frothy, almost stable, off-white head. Sweetish, quite fruity and a little resiny aroma of mango, orange jam and some pine. Sweetish, slightly bitter, quite fruity and a bit resiny taste of mango, orange jam, some honey and pine, followed by a medium long, quite dry-bitter, resiny and a bit herbal finish. Medium to full body, slightly creamy mouthfeel, soft carbonation. Very nice!

Bottle at home, 2nd March 17. Pours dark, almost copper, slight head. Aroma is pine, resin, slight sweet. Taste is pine, sweet and bitter, slight hot alcohol, some sour notes. Not so smooth, but good depth of flavour, not bad

Bottle @ Van Moll Brewpub. Nice soft red color, medium to full sized off-white head. Beer is a little too cold so I don’t get any difference between aroma and flavor. Both are malts, hops, somewhat fruity. Imo this DIPA / IIPA is too malty, and the hops kind of indicisive: not fruity enough to make the beer a superb fruity hop bomb, not resinous and piney enough to make it that sort of IIPA. Solid bitter finish, decent to medium body and carbonation. Ok.

33cl bottle @ home. Red-brown color, mostly clear. Off white head with about 0.5 cm retention. Aroma’s: lots of hops, some tropical fruit, light caramel. Retronasal it’s very hoppy, resinous, sourish, bitter, with some fruit (citrus/tropical). Flavor is above moderate bitter with some fruity sourness. Body is medium (at most). Long finish, quite bitter, but not harsh.

Small, yellow head, fine and dense, disappearing over fully hazy reddish beer. Very fruity, citrussy hops; tangerine, passion fruit, grapefruit. Bit milky too. Dry hops, hopoil/lupuline galore. Citrussy aspects, saffron. Feels very slick; medium to well bodied, oily. Good carbonation. Very good DIPA, absolutely. Not overly complex, but intriguing enough.
