Bottle at home. Brown color, darker mahogany red glare coming through when held into the light. Aroma and flavor are malts, brown candy sugar, barrel notes, sweetish notes of raisins. Alright.

19/XII/25 - 75cl bottle, shared @ Tim’s Big Country Tick Tasting And More (home), BB: 2033 (2025-1409) Thanks to nathanvc for sharing the bottle.
Pretty clear dark brown to purple coloured beer, no head, some specks floating around. Aroma: malty, soft roast, some alcohol, a hint of coffee, caramel notes. MF: ok carbon, medium body. Taste: quite some cinnamon, lots of caramel, sugary, alcohol, some milk chocolate, a bit oxidized. Aftertaste: gentle bitterness, soft roast, some caramel, chocolate notes, cinnamon again. Nice enough.

19 December 2025. Country Tasting @ Tim’s - thanks for hosting, cheers to the whole crew! Bottle from Stacks, No. 90/330.
Hazy dark brown-black, no head. Aroma of candied date & fig, fig jam, vanilla, bourbon, toffee, Sirop de Liège, milk chocolate, almond, wood, liquorice, brandy. Taste has sweet candied date & fig, some pear, in a syrupy and toffee-ish malt body with a touch of liquorice and vanilla. Herbal hops in the finish, lots of dried fruits, toffee and warming bourbon alcohol. Medium body, oily texture, flat carbonation. Decently complex and delicate sipper. Cheers and farewell to Vier Monniken!
