Where the Mediterranean Sea meets the Atlantic Ocean is the ancient city of Tangier. This confluence has made Tangier a cultural waypoint for millenia. From Greek heroes to Cold War spies and uprisings, Tangier has inspired thousands of legendary stories. It is written that before his battle with the giant Antaeus, Hercules rested in a nearby cave. But where myths end, our tale begins. Tangier is brewed as a Session India Pale Ale with spicy citrus aromas and stone fruit flavors. These flavors, with the addition of lightly roasted malts and brilliant hop bitterness, make Tangier a beverage as refreshing as it is exotic. The approachable 4.6% abv yields more time to enjoy the synergy between the tangerine peel and spicy, citrusy, Azacca hops. Enjoy Tangier in celebration of your epic adventure.

Like it better if there was more of the tangerine, but whatever. Still pretty good.

Part of their Overpack'd 15-pack from Publix in Kissimmee, Florida. Pours a clean golden colour with a soapy off-white head, average stay but some good dirty foam lacing. Very grassy hop aromas with notes of citrus peel that give a sharp, dry nose. The taste has a sharp dry bite as well, but the bitterness is not too crazy. Written Tangerine peel, so none of the fruit is felt. I guess the zest has this smoothness, real dryness and sharpness to it. Goes down nicely.

12oz bottle from Wegman's, West Seneca. A pale amber pour with a trace of white head and light carbonation; some tangarine peel on the aroma; tropical fruit taste - clean and refreshing; with a touch of spice to finish. A pleasant session IPA.

0.355l bottle @ Hotel Room. This is a cloudy looking one, ehm, yellowish orange in the glass and a small slowly fading white lacing head on the top. Smells really good. It has lots of zesty citrus. Oranges and grass. Lots of hops here also. Nice. Its definitely a little thin in the mouth, not directly watery but not too far off either. About average on the carbonation. Tastes good and lightly refreshing. Oranges and zest. Citrus sharpness and a little bit of stone fruits. Easy to drink and easy to like. 21.06.2015
