12 oz. bottle - pint glass. Best by 10/22/2015 A :Pours a short loose head atop a rich brassy color.. Hazy with fine visible sediment. Little to no visible carbonation. S: Pine is the first note detected in the smell with a faint orange hint as well. Light but nice scent. T: Definitely piney but with a noticeable tart orange flavor to offset. Pretty nice overall even without much of a malt flavor. Some resin on the mouth. M: Light but not watery with a bit of a rough oiliness and slightly more carbonation than is visible. O: I was quite pleased overall. Good mouthfeel to top off a good (not great) tasting, good smelling session ale. Pretty good take on the session ale style. Worth an occasional purchase although at $10/6 not exactly cheap.

Bottle. Quite clear in the glass, golden in color and with a small, off-white head. The aroma has a good dash of grapefruit and resins, with some pale malts in the back. Orange zest and some grassy hints too. It’s medium bodied, smooth and quite dry on the palate, with a nice bitterness. Grapefruit, resins, orange zest and a faint touch of malts too. Mostly bitter and piney finish. A very refreshing and quenching beer I could easily have a few of while mowing the lawn. 150625

Pours clear golden with a white head. Aroma has notes of malt, citrus, grape and pine. Taste is medium sweet and medium bitter with a long citrus, grape and pine finish. Body is light to medium, texture is thin to oily, carbonation is soft.

Draught @ Albion. Cloudy bright orange with small frothy off-white head, citrus peel aroma, medium carbonation, bitter tangerine peel taste, medium bitter finish. Nice and refreshing, not too hoppy.

On draught at Winking Lizard. The beer is a clear golden color with a medium off-white head that evaporates quickly to an outer ring. Short strings of lacing. Aroma of citrus, hops and biscuit malt. Light-bodied with flavors of oranges and tangerines, with some grassy hops and malt in the background. The finish is fruity with a citrus aftertaste. Decent overall.

Tangerine, yeast, and pencil shavings aroma. Cloudy amber, thin head, fine floaties. Yeast, daffodil. Orange peel finish. Medium body, harsh mouthfeel. I’m confounded by this beer. I was expecting something much more citrusy, but this was quite floral. Rather disappointing.

Pour is a hazy yellow with a small white head. Aroma is mildly hoppy with some definite citrus bursts. Flavor is more of the citrus hops with some very dry pale malt. Finish is quickly fading bitterness. This is pretty decent for one of these session IPA’s. I think the addition of tangerine peels make it seem more hoppy than it really is.

12 ounce bottle into pint glass, bottled on 4/22/2015. Pours lightly cloudy bright golden yellow color with a 1-2 finger dense white head with good retention, that reduces to a small cap that lingers. Nice spotty soapy lacing clings down the glass, with a fair amount of streaming carbonation. Aromas of grapefruit, tangerine, pineapple, mango, melon, pear, lemon zest, orange peel, light pine, cracker, bread, and herbal/grassy earthiness. Very nice aromas with good balance and complexity of citrus/tropical hops, orange peel, and light-moderate pale malt notes; with good strength. Taste of grapefruit, tangerine, pineapple, mango, melon, pear, lemon zest, orange peel, pine, cracker, bread, and herbal/grassy earthiness. Moderate amount of pine/grassy bitterness on the finish; with lingering notes of grapefruit, tangerine, pineapple, mango, melon, pear, lemon/orange peel, pine, cracker, bread, and herbal/grassy earthiness on the finish for a good bit. Very nice complexity, robustness, and balance of bright citrus/tropical hops, orange peel, and light-moderate pale malt flavors; with a nice malt/bitterness balance and zero cloying flavors after the finish. Medium carbonation and light-medium bodied; with a very smooth, crisp, and moderately sticky mouthfeel that is nice. Alcohol is very well hidden with minimal warming present after the finish as expected of 4.6%. Overall this is a very nice session IPA style. All around good complexity, robustness, and balance of citrus/tropical hops, orange peel, and light-moderate pale malt flavors; and very smooth and crisp to drink. A very enjoyable offering.

Bottled sample. Pours a clear copper with a thin creamy tan head. Good head retention. Aroma of citrus and pale malt. The taste is juicy citrus, pale malt, caramel. Medium bodied, mild lingering bitterness and decent balance.
