We teamed up with our friends from Seacoast Mushrooms in Mystic, CT. We crafted a pale ale with Lion's Mane and Maitake Mushrooms. These gourmet mushrooms are somewhat rare, delicious, wildly unique, and are typically found only at specialty markets. We paired these flavors with Simcoe, Amarillo, and Motueka hops. With no credible science to confirm, some people believe that these mushrooms have special properties that enhance memory and brain function. Do they? All we know is that they are delicious

16 oz can shared by Tom. Thank you! Aroma has Old citrus and earthy notes. Flavor follows very earthy with notes of grapefruit and citrus. Bitterness in the form of earthy character.

Gently hazy, brass-blonde. Small, white head.
Smells earthy with mineral and chalk but no more than dry hop and fruity yellow fruits. Clean and polished with good attenuation.
Earthy and malty with some astringency on the very end. Juicy and hoppy, clean and malty. Been more and more impressed with Tox lately.

Can from Manchester Wine & Liquors. Hazy, dark yellow, thin cap of head with trace lacing. Aroma is strong citrus and grapefruit, mild earth. Taste is strong citrus, grapefruit, earth. Smooth, frothy texture, average carbonation and finish as taste. Base is traditional NEIPA, mild earthy mushroom. Decent.
