Is it a bird? Is it a Plane? IT IS…… THE BIRD OF PREY! OMG! What a phenomenon already! A supernatural IPA chock-full of citra, chinook and mosaic hops. One of the many beers Uiltje Brewing is so, so proud of. Always fresh, and always super hoppy.

Is the Bird of Prey out of control? You bet your *ss it is! But if you drink it immediately you’ll probably be able to temper it. And if you don’t drink it ASAP you can tame this bionic bird by storing it in a cool dark place. Otherwise it becomes kryptonite!

Well, a can of our sublime Bird of Prey is all you need to start off with, and the adventures will follow subsequently. One of our most precious IPA's, or India Pale Ales if you will. Huge thanks to markoijelena for that one! Can looks good. Beer in the glass with a huge head. Starts fine hoppy, flowery, mild bitter background. Fruity notes of lemon, some grapes. Bitter-hoppy finish. Quite drinkable. Nice!

330 ml can, from World of Delights Delicatessen, Schiphol airport. ABV is 5.8%. Golden colour, only slightly hazy. Small white head. Aroma of orange marmalade and pine. Citric (grapefruity) and piney flavour, moderate but distinct bitterness. Not too sweet.

Can 33 cl. Pours an almost clear golden with a lacing, white head. Lovely fruity nose dominated by the Citra. Medium body, sweet fruitiness, but there's also a sharp, chemical dankness that is less than pleasant, herbal even. SOme late bitterness. Much better aroma than taste. 141221

Can. Just a tad hazy golden, medium white head, medium lasting. Piney nose with some citrusy fruity notes, hints of sweet fruits. Moderate, solid bitterness, slight fruity presence, but very hidden. Slight citrusy finish. Dry aftertaste, very lasting. Proper IPA.

28/X/21 - 33cl can from Beekse Bergen (Hilvarenbeek, NL), shared @ home, BB: 9/VIII/22, canned: 9/VIII/21 (2021-1201)

Clear orange beer, big creamy bit irregular white head, unstable, non adhesive. Aroma: nice, pretty fruity, citrus notes, bit grassy, good stuff! MF: ok carbon, medium body. Taste: nice bitterness, lots of citrus, fruity, grapefruit, juicy, grassy, bit resinous, a little malty. Aftertaste: juicy, citrus, oranges, nice bitterness, slightly sourish, bit of a hop burn. Very nice, even 2.5 months after canning!
