This sticky, full-bodied imperial stout is inspired by an iconic cocktail, boasting rich coffee character and velvety sweetness among a layered malt bill of Carafa® Special 3, chocolate wheat, oats and Crystal T50™.

Infused with Reshad, Ethiopian coffee sourced and roasted by our Danish pals at Coffee Collective, it showcases aromas of milk chocolate and light fruit with flavours of dark chocolate and a balanced bitterness that lets the rich coffee character shine.

Shared with my brother and wife during the new naked gun. When cold there was a surprising amount of acidity which was a bit odd, but that disappeared as it warmed up. Very sweet, with malt and sugar contributing. Lovely Ethiopian coffee gives a medium roasted coffee flavour with fruity notes, very nice. Very sweet but lovely flavour and texture, with the coffee shining.

330ml can. Pours jet black with a small head. Aroma is strong bitter coffee with some meaty roast. Taste has sweet oily roast and sweet coffee throughout with a bitter finish.

Panda at home, thanks to Kenneth, 16/10/2025.
Lighter shade of black topped with a khaki cap that thins to a swirl.
Nose is tangy dark fruit rinds, coffee vibes, dark malts, just a little too much of a tang about it that I wasn't expecting.
Taste comprises Tiramisu coffee mix, booze, brown sugar melt, dark malts.
Full bodied, oily feel, semi drying close with a balanced rising boost.
Okay sipper but not as good as the others from VC of this ilk, lacks balance and cohesion in that is smelt overly tangy then delivered overly sweet on the flavour front.
Tasted a lot better when I blended it with some Kees BA barley wine!

Can. Almost clear dark brown beer, small bubbly pale tan head. Smooth and slightly viscous palate, a modest dryness, good fine minerally carbonation. Rich espresso creamy malts. Ripe fruity ripe winey Martini. Rich ripe prune and dates. Spicy alcohol finish. Yeah, this is ticking a lot of my boxes. Suitably intense as it should be but also fairly light and crisp and, dangerously drinkable.
