On tap at Cardinal, Stavanger. Black colour, minimal head. Unpleasant aroma of chocolate, cinnamon and cardamom (possibly other spices), decaying fruits. Very unpleasant flavour with the same elements, totally unbalanced, far too sweet, not good at all (actually very, very bad).

Sesongstart på Mi2 aug-26. Stemningen er på bånn etter Vault City Kjøbenhavnerstang, og denne gjør det ikke lettere for oss. Nesten helt svart, uten skum eller andre tegn til liv. Sjokolade, kardemomme, kakao og en ubestemmelig syrlighet som ikke skal være der. Langt over dato?

From cask at Cardinal, Stavanger. Pours dark brown without any head. Aroma of chocolate and fruits. Tastes slightly sour with some sweetness. Thin bodied, low carbonation. Probably not good anymore.

Can from Sainsburys. Black body with a short-lived beige head. Low carbonation. No lacing. Aroma of chocolate and honeycomb. Flavour of toffee and honey. Medium body with a chewy mouthfeel. Soft fizz. Sweet and rich.

Keg at Waterloo Tap. In their own glass. Are we in Belgium? Dark. Probably cola brown in a better lit room/ I was wearing glasses. Foamy off-white head. Aroma is super sweet- honey and chocolate... slightly more so than a standard that bar. Flavourwise it's less accurate. It's very sweet but with a distinct sour streak. I guess that's could be mead-esque element. Light-medium bodied. Slick. Soft-fizzy carbonation. Long dry somewhat astringent finish. A stout-mead blend?
