Amber brown with a frothy off-white head and not much of an aroma, just a touch of fruit malt. Smooth and creamy, light to medium bodied with sweet malt, fruity notes, a hint of spice and hop bitterness, finishes dry and a touch bitter.

Cask at the Standing Order. Pours clear golden amber with a thin white head. Aromas of light jam, spice, malt, toffee. Taste is more of the same. Clean finish. Fest tick 7.

Cask handpull at Shakespeare Head Holborn JDW. Clear chestnut colour lasting beige head. Decent ESB. Some malt some pepper. Some decent ale yeast esters fruits. Autumnal fruits. Apples pears. Dryish finish. Interesting esb. Will have more if I see it.

Well balanced overall. Pleasant lightly toasted malt, a faint leafy note, dried citrus peel. Perhaps a nip of yeast. Good condition. Highly drinkable.
