(50 cl bottle at Haket, Gรถteborg) Labeled 4.7% ABV. Clear dark copper color, small tan head. Sweet caramel, licorice, fresh scent. Sweet, grassy and caramel malty taste. Medium mouthfeel, low bitterness.

Bottled. Pours clear, deep copper-colored with a small beige head. The aroma starts hoppy, then a nice maltyness comes through. The flavor is malty as well, with a metallic bitterness, and it finishes with malt and a nice hop-level. Thin-bodied, session-ale. A decent beer. (070216)

Bottle picked up whilst in Devon recently. Poured dark amber coloured nose was malty with just a hint of vanilla, taste was quite fruity but with good maltiness and vanilla detected again, and all this sweetened with a soft toffeeiness. Very nice beer but not as good as some of theirs.

Bottle: Amber orangey coloured, hazy, thin stable white foam; malty, fruity to vinous (sherry) nose, touches of hops and sulphur; taste is malty and fruity too with a faint herbal hoppiness, becomes drier and more bitter at the end, light bodied; quite complex ale, well rounded.
