Can from Aldi Inverurie. It pours clear golden - amber with and decent white head. The aroma is bitter - sweet, sticky, sappy, resin, pine, grapefruit, orange marmalade, hop sack, damp rope and some green vibes. The taste is rather dry, firm bitterness, dry wood, pine, quite sharp, raw, pissy, pithy, bitter citrus peel, grapefruit, pomelo, slightly soapy, florals, orange blossom and tannin with a pithy finale. Average body and fine carbonation. Lacks a bit of clarity and drinkability. Fair.

440ml can. Pours dark amber with an off-white head. Aroma of pine, toffee, a bit floral. Taste is the same, big pine character, marmalade, grapefruit, sweet toffee/caramel malts, biscuity base, assertive bitter finish. Medium bodied.

440ml can from my mate Gordon. 2nd beer in a small tasting session with myself and no one else on 17th October 2025. Poured (twice) into a La Chouffe stemmed tulip glass at home. Clean and clear amber/copper body, off white head on each pour. Nice bitter hop blend, piney lead in both the nose and taste. Bitter finish with a good earthy/nutty feel.
