Can from the brewery - Easter 2024 trip, that pours a lightly hazy golden-amber colour with a frothy-bubbly white cap, long lasting with some soapy lacing left. Not sure why, but I am getting lots of Nelson Sauvin notes, rather than Riwaka. That nutty-grapeness I really like, not the grapefruit I am suppose to get. Maybe a bit of kumquat that is suppose to be. The mango of the Riwaka comes out in the taste with citrusy zest hints. Quite juicy with just enough building dryness to not be too thick. Still, vinous notes that I really enjoy the Sauvin hops. No matter what, this is a good APA.

Can thanks to Gary May. It pours hazy bright pale orange with a thick, bubbly white head. The aroma is soft, sweet, fresh, vibrant, orangey citrus, tangerine, kumquat, floral, orange blossom, touch green, grassy and a touch of of soft doughy white bread. The taste is firmly dry, punchy bitterness which lingers, snappy, green, grassy, floral, orange blossom, tangerine, kumquat, peppery spice, straw and clean, slightly bready malt base with a drying finish. Average body and moderate, fluffy carbonation. Crazy balanced and quenching. Subtle, but has depth.

Pours hazy gold into a tulip. Bright white head with medium retention recedes leaving soapy sheets. Mango, lychee and dusty white grape aromas. Soft with earthy papaya and guava upfront turning to earthy pith and pine in the dry, lasting finish.

Bottle shared at Travlrβs departure tasting. Poured into a snifter showing well filtered dull yellow with white foam around the rims. The nose shows an extremely light pineapple profile. The palate is lightly carbonated and full bodied. Flavors of pine resin without any sharpness. Balanced and rounded by malts without giving any bready notes. Resinous pine and lightly grapefruit pithy finish.
