12 oz bottle from Ratman! Nose is vanilla, chocolate, with light amounts of bourbon, wood and chilies. Black with a small lightly lacing cinnamon tan head. Flavor is moderately sweet dark chocolate, vanilla, and a nice light amount of pepperiness that gently licks your tongue. Excellent! Thanks for the bottle Don.

12 oz. bottle thanks to T.J. May 2016 vintage. Glad you spent the money for this. Too rich for my blood! Thanks dog!

No head on a pitch black liquid. The aroma is pepper up front, light vanilla, cinnamon, chocolate.

The flavor is what it should be. Yes again, cinnamon, light vanilla, and plenty of chiles. Oily texture over the palate. Body is medium plus with a mild chili heat. Thankful that the pepper heat is mild.

Pours a rather watery black (not as thick and oily as you’d expect), with minimal, almost no head. Aroma of vanilla, dark fruit, booze, bourbon, cherry, chocolate. Flavor is strongly vanilla, with some cocoa, just a slight touch of heat from the chiles, more than a little bourbon/booziness, plum, cherry, some licorice. Very smooth with a touch of the chile pepper heat in the finish. Quite tasty.

Pours black into a tulip. Mocha head with excellent retention recedes leaving spot lacing to coat surface. Chocolate and vanilla aromas. Sweet cinnamon and chocolate upfront turning to warming bourbon before the lasting vanilla and chile burn. Interesting how the ingredients show themselves at different times...

Tap into a snifter showing pitch black with no head. The nose is exactly like hot cocoa. This is great. The palate is light bodied and lightly carbonated. Flavors of dry milk chocolate or hot cocoa and a slightly alcohol spice. Not much else.

Some chili and vanilla. Black pour with ok head and lacing. Light bourbon. Only tastes like a 14% beer, not a 17% beer. Tap at Churchkey.
