Bohemia is a lush region in the southwest corner of the Czech Republic that is rich in brewing tradition. The Bohemian were pioneers in brewing their beers clear and golden, using bottom fermenting lager yeasts. Trader Joe’s Bohemian Lager is brewed using the finest imperial pilsner malted barley and aroma hops, resulting in a wonderfully refreshing beer. Beer stats 5% ABV, 18 IBUs. Hazy medium gold - mild nose of pils malt.and lightly grassy hops, as well as some moderate acidity and some floral notes - sadly, there is also a mild creamed corn quality - flavor is moderately.sweet, lightly bitter, wifh some tangy acidity amd grassy hops on the tail end - throughout, there are mild.unclean notes of dms and diacetyl - as wifh their other pils, the recipe has potential, but they have to clean up the fermentation.

Gold Yellow Color, Huge Foamy Head, Last Long and Leaves Decent Amount Of Lacing.Slightly Sweet, Malty, Light Bitter Finish. Nothing Spectacular, but is rather decent and Refreshing. Drinkable. OK for what it is...

12 oz. bottle from Trader Joe’s, Portsmouth, NH for a price of $1.17. Clear gold color in a lager glass. Highly carbonated. Nose is light caramel malt. Taste is pils malts, lager yeast notes and straw. It has a mineral water flavor in the finish. Not really bad for a plain lager. Pretty hard to beat the price.

Pours light gold into a shaker. Bright white head with good retention recedes leaving spider lacing. Caramel and bread aromas. Dry with sweet hay and caramel upfront turning to earthy sourdough before the mildly bitter finish.

12 fl oz bottle purchased at the Trader Joe’s in Kansas City, Missouri. Best consumed before May 9, 2012) printed on the label. Pour is a clear golden with a smallish white head. A fair amount of carbonation bubbles are present. Aroma is grain wheat, mildly toasty, and a bit of clove sweetness. Taste is more of the clove, earthy mild spice hops, honey sweetness, then turns to grain malt, and finishes with some more of the earthiness. Palate is light bodied, lower level of carbonation. Body thins out to the point of being watery in the finish. This is mostly clean, just a bit dull.

Bottle. Slightly sour barley malt aroma. Golden yellow color with minimal head. Stale cardboard/barley malt and lightly bitter herbal hops flavor. Tastes old but has a best by date nearly 5 months from now.

bottle pours light yellow with a thin pillow of white head. Aroma is crackers, pale grains, bready. Flavor is pretty nice, thin bread and cracker malt character. Refreshing clean finish with grassy hops. Enjoyable.

Pours clear gold and has a light grainy malt aroma with a touch of hops. The flavor is sweet, grainy malt with some mild hops bitterness. It’s light bodied and drinkable but underwhelming.

Corn and rice nose. Shimmering amber, thin head good carbonation level. Corn flavor, with a lemony tinge. Actually does have a bit of grass finish. Weak and cheap, but not completely devoid of flavor.
