Taylor's Row
Manor Hill Brewing in Ellicott City, Maryland, United States 🇺🇸

Initially released as an homage to Manor Hill Tavern when it first opened in the historic “Taylor’s Row” section of Old Ellicott City, it proved too tasty to not revisit. This brew has nearly 30% of the grist bill carved out for malted, flaked and caramel rye grains. Assertively hopped with Columbus, Simcoe, Centennial, and Falconer’s Flight, this deep copper colored American IPA boasts big aromas of grapefruit and pine with a resinous finish.

Draft at Owen's Ordinary, 11/20/16. Cloudy golden pour, small white head. Aroma is orange/grapefruit and a bit of a plastic type note as well. Tastes similar, fairly bitter, lacking a bit in an overall roundedness of flavor. Okay mouthfeel. Thought this was an alright IPA, but it didn't quite get there for me.

Very nice. Pine, pepper and fresh green onion. Pours murky orange without any head or lacing. Lots of citrus zest. Bitter and tangy finish. Tap at Whole Foods.

12oz can pours a clear orange with some cloudy, white head. Nose has candy, clementine orange, orange soda, some tropical fruit. Flavor has oranges, clementines, tangerines, sticky with pine, a little green. Finishes sticky. Quite good.

IPA rating #500! Can at the Local DC Tasting as Hidden Hopyard vol. 2. Clear golden orange with off-white head. Aromas of tropical fruit, citrus, floral notes. Tastes of tropical fruit, citrus, floral notes. Medium body with a dry finish. Another good one from Manor Hill.
Have had the Taylor’s Row scaled down version in cans, definitely tastes different and not as good as the original Hidden Hopyard Volume 2.

16oz can at the July DC tasting. Poured a clear golden color with a small white head. Aroma was delicious smelling stone fruits and tropical fruit character. Flavor was light mango, zesty citrus. Tasty.
