On tap at Harpoon Larry's in VA beach, very fresh keg I am told. Yellow smoothie look, great nose of pine and mango. Really nice big tropical and foresty flavor, it's a fantastic juicy hazy pine bomb with smooth bitterness. Excellent beer!

24/1/2024. Can shared by Colin, cheers! Pours cloudy pale orange gold with a small frothy white head. Aroma is ripe tropical fruits, pineapple, mango, coconut, dank notes, touch herbal. Medium sweetness and moderate bitterness. Medium body, average to soft carbonation. Nicely done.

Can at home, from Beerdome online, 27/12/23. Murky orange with a good sized lasting just off white head. Nose is mango, pineapple, hint of coconut, grass, papaya. Taste comprises melon, tropical fruit medley, light hop spice, pineapple, papaya. Medium bodied, fine carbonation, semi drying close spliced with juicy come grassy hop bitterness. Tasty enough IPA ... balanced well and not overly sweet ... can't say I was detecting much in the way of brett mind.

Can at home. Ugly murky punica appearance. Aroma and flavor are lightly malts, fruity hops with notes of oranges, tangerine, apricot and light lychee notes. Mwah. Not impressed. I had higher hopes.

Super hazy golden and straw yellow coloured body, almost completely opaque with a thick, five to six centimetre tall, microbubbled tan head. Aroma of grass, perfume, mangoes, oranges, grapefruit and a dash of apricots and some fruits. Medium-bodied; Deep effervescent grassy and floral flavour at first with a deep fruity characteristic that doesn't show any bitterness, nor sweetness, just a tropical and very citrusey flavour with some deep alcohol and grassy astringency at the end with a rather large kick of pear and apricot notes as well as more mango than anything else. Aftertaste has a long malt characteristic, a slight floral note, but some bitterness does show through the edges, from the hops, with a good balance of deep hops and deeper malt, all with good fruit notes and a light sweetness. Overall, great to sample and a very nice hazy IPA from the East Coast (not New England), that hits the right notes while being very drinkable and balance. Well-recommended throughout, if you can find it, at least! I sampled this sixteen ounce, pint-sized can, purchased from Total Wine in Newport News, Virginia on 17-November-2019 for US$4,49 sampled on 05-March-2020.

Tap at taproom. Hazy yellow colour, small white head. Mango, pineapple, blackcurrant in the nose. Citrus, mango and pineapple in the fruity flavour. Easy drinker. More like old school fruity ipa than modern oj ipa.
