clear dark brown to black beer, creamy beige to brown head, very stable, bit adhesive. Aroma: very sweet, sugary, vanilla, heavy, maple syrup, caramel, dried fruits, soft roast, molasses. MF: soft to no carbon, full body. Taste: sweet start, caramel, sourish, hoppy, bourbon, alcohol, heavy sweetness. Aftertaste: bit sour, alcohol, sweet, more alcohol, hoppy bitterness, vanilla, bourbon notes.

Tap @ Borefts ’15. Black with a brown head. Smells chocolate, very roasty, liquorice, damn. Tastes loads of chocolate, vanilla, very roasty. Love this. Almost a bourbon county stout. Full body, soft carbo.

At Holy Grale. Black with small light brown. Aroma is big sweet bourbon, thick body, low carbonation, little lacing. Taste is big bourbon, chocolate, some smoke, and some alcohol.

Bottle. Maple syrup, coffee, chocolate malt and hay aroma. Oil black with small head. Sweet maple syrup, chocolate malt, and mildly bitter herbal hay flavor. Moderate bourbon aftertaste. Body a bit lighter than expected.

Pitch black color with dark brown small head, quickly disappearing. Aroma of dark malts, dark chocolate, cardboard. Very good dark chocolate flavor, moderately sweet, a lot of tobacco, some bourbon; the alcohol is not too noticeable.

375mL bottle, pours a motor oil black with a small tan head. Nose is dense and complex, with maple syrup, bourbon barrels and some vanilla. Flavour is rich, with loads of maple syrup, bourbon, vanilla and chocolate. Super viscous and syrupy, but not quite in cloying territory somehow. Not boozy somehow, but pretty intense. Very lovely.

Bottle. Pours inky black, small black secondary head, forms slow but doesnt last long. Leaves a ring with some lacing. Aroma is roasty, molasses, anise, hints of bourbon and vanilla. Flavor is medium sweet, medium plus bitter, lots of cocoa, anise, molasses, hints of maple. Bourbon present but not overpowering with vanilla and woody notes present as well. Medium plus body, sticky tongue coating mouthfeel. Lingering bitter molasses in the far finish.

12.7 oz bottle poured into a Bruery tulip. Black with 1.5 fingers of nice tan head. Aromas of big bourbon right off the uncapping, maple syrup, caramel, slight chcoolate, some roast and oak. Tastes of bourbon, caramel, a bit of maple syrup, oak, dark chocolate. Well masked alcohol, barely noticeable for 13.2%. Alcohol comes out a bit more after warming up quite a bit. Mostly full body with a dry finish. Very good.

Draught at Hatten. Pours heavy black with a firm beige head. Aroma of bourbon and chocolate. Heavy taste of roasted malts, salty licorice, bourbon and dark chocolate.
