Bottle: Pours black with a small tan head. Dark chocolate, smoke, maple syrup aroma. Taste is sweet, roasty chocolate malt, maple, bourbon.....a lot of bourbon....but really well presented....a slight alcohol warmth. An excellent one.

Bottle bought @ Systembolaget. Pours oily viscous pitch black with a small dark chocolate brown head that quickly dissipates without leaving much trace on the glass. Smell is intense, malty and slightly boozy with roasted malts, burnt caramel, toffee, vanilla fudge, charred wood, dark roast coffee, bitter chocolate, moist soil, dried pine needles, roasted coconut and bourbon alcohol. Taste is sweet, bitter, malty and slightly boozy. Mouthfeel is fat, oily, round. slightly roasted astringent, slightly boozy and full bodied. Finish is sweet and heavy bitter with roasted malts, burnt caramel, chocolate chip cookie dough, vanilla fudge, burnt wood, dark roast coffee, bitter chocolate, dried pine needles, roasted coconut, caramelized almonds, moist soil and bourbon alcohol. Huge beer in a style I love. Mellowed out in the bitterness compared to the original and the huge malt base are very much lifted by the barrel treatment. Currently fairly hot though so let this rest for a while, at least the bottles, and this will be a world class experience.

Nose is cold creamy chocolate pudding, bourbon, oak, maple, sugar, very desert-like,… Taste is creamy mocha, pudding, maple, caramel, sugar, sweet candy, warming in a good way, oak vanilla & very sweet bourbon. Very thick & creamy. Very nice desert beer.

@Borefts 2015, van tap, bruin tot zwart met bruine goede plakkerige kraag. Aroma van gebrande en geroosterde mouten, chocolade, vanille, shit load aan bourbon. Smaken van enorm veel bourbon, veel chocolade, vanille, hout, geroosterde mout, zoet, koffie, volle body, zacht met fantastisch lange afdronk, ja ik heb echt genoten van dit bier, erg lekker...

On tap at Borefts 2015. Opaque, black with a creamy, brown head. Sweetish-malty aroma of coffee, dark chocolate, bourbon, licorice, brown sugar. Taste the same. Long, medium bitter, roasty finish. Full body, oily mouthfeel, flat carbonation. Awesome.

At Borefts 2015. Aroma of cream, choco and maple. Rich flavor of maple syrup, choco, coffee, mocha and vanilla. Thick sticky mouthfeel, long finish. Like a liquid desert.

On tap at Borefts ’15. As Agamemnon Bourbon Maple Syrup. I see this is brewed with maple syrup. The one called Maple Syrup is not bourbon BA, if I understand correctly. Black colour, beige head. Aroma is sweet, mocha, coffee, chocolate, bourbon, vanilla. Flavour is sweet, malty, light butterscotch, hard-roasted malts, coffee, chocolate, mocha, coffee, bourbon, just everything great. Full bodied, glorious stuff, never overly sweet, lots of roast.

drank at Borefts 2015. Pours black, good grey head. Smell is bit boozy. Taste is grainy, dark malts. Sharp bourbon. Thick body. Nice ! Chocolaty aftertaste. To many and most thé best beer of the festival, for me a top 5 as well so yeah, well done Omnipollo !
