We have been lucky to work with our friends at Hollamby Hops and procured some (loads) of their delicious freshly-harvested green Target hops. Brewed with a blend of Maris Otter and Vienna malts and complimented by Simcoe, Chinook and Perle in the dry hop.

440ml can from Middle Farm, Firle. Poured a slightly hazy golden colour with a lasting frothy white head. The aroma is grainy, like pineapple. The flavour is moderate bitter, with a fresh, crisp, lime, grapefruit, light pepper spice, hop bitter palate. Medium bodied with average carbonation. A very fresh and sessionable beer!

Can. A mild haze on this orangey gold beer, good bubbly pale cream colour head. Airy palate, mildly dry, decent fine minerally carbonation. Soft pale malts, a mild creamy sweetness. Light smooth cooling pine. Slightly tangy and very slightly earthy citrus hops. Orange and a little mandarin - tangerine. Not like US hops but, you know, more British reserve. A hop spice nip on the close. Tidy and I appreciate the effort showcase Target as a hop. The addition of other hops muddies the waters. I just think it needs a few more bags of hops in the brew to really get this going. Drinkable IPA nonetheless.

Can at home, from HOTM online, 14/12/2025.
Hazed golden orange topped with a lasting just off white head.
Nose is bitter orange, grass, herb, straw, grains.
Taste comprises orange peel, melon, earthy fruit rinds, biscuit crumb, hedgerow.
Medium bodied, fine carbonation, semi drying close with mellow leafy hop bitterness.
Decent green hop affair but not sharing the love others seem to hold for it.

Can at home picked up from HOTM. A translucent deep orange coloured pour with a lasting rocky off white head. Aroma is nice bready grains, orange rind, grass, leafy waxy citrus, hop oils, lemongrass. Flavour is composed of semi crisp, rustic bready grains, wheaty grains, nice leafy citrus, orange and lemons, firm grassy citrus, tinges of pine, Really well rounded and very drinkable. Palate is nice semi crisp, hop oils, massaging fine carbonation. A very fine beer.
