Sample glass at Growler Garage.
The appearance was a light golden yellow color with a bar pour’s kind of slim head that just slid into oblivion. Rating adjusted accordingly.
The smell had a big burst of hoppy orange to lemon. Some grapefruit pulp and rind shows up in a light bitter to sweet context.
The taste was moderately sweet showing its eloquence through the bitter in the hops. The wheat level seemed appropriate with a nice quick aftertaste and finish.
On the palate, this one sat about light bodied with a really nice sweet citrusy pounding sessionability about it. Carbonation seems to hit right.
Overall, as an American Pale Wheat ale, this one is a really nice one. I’d have again.

Tap at The Skinny Pancake, Montpelier. It pours cloudy luminous yellow with a decent white head. The nose is soft, juicy grapefruit, orange marmalade, pineapple chunks and some bread. The taste is smooth, crisp, juicy, cracker, grapefruit, orange peel, zesty, pineapple, grass and straw with a dry finish. Medium body and moderate, foamy carbonation. Juicy and very drinkable. Good stuff.

16 oz. can purchased at the brewery. Hazy bright yellow with some head that stay until the end of the snifter. Aroma show the juice without a question: oranges, lemons and grapefruit. The flavor is same as the aroma with weak pine bitterness in the finish. The body is light and on the thin side with acidic grapefruit notes.

Tall-boy can picked up 2 days ago @ the brewery. Very dark golden orange 1 finger white head. Smells great. Very juicy, effervescent with a ton of great hop presence and straight up juice. Tastes very weak, thin, the wheat body helps but it has more of a 3% taste than a 6% taste. Grapefruit juice seems to only be thinning out the beer. There’s a little creamy texture to it. Citrus juices only add a lot of acidity and detract from wheat body. not a fan.
