Draft at the brewery. Poured a very dark cola, almost black color with not much of a head at all. Big sour notes, some dried fruit, woody, funky and dusty. Dark, but not very roasty. Chocolate malts, very light bitterness, with a mildly tart finish.

Keg at the Atlas taproom, DC, 13/04/23. Light black with a tan cap that clears to the edge. Nose is tangy dark fruit shreds, damp wood, stewed fruits, light acidic nostril tickle, funk. Taste comprises sharp berry fruits, wood must, funk, barnyard, grains, fruit balsams, buggy notes, herb, vinous, dark berry fruit skins. Medium bodied, fine carbonation, semi drying close spiked with light acidity leading to a balanced puckering climax. Not bad.
