Clear golden and peach coloured body with a thin, one centimetre tall perfectly white head that stays afloat nicely. Aroma of crisp lemons, grapefruit, resin and a lot of pine notes, with some deeper malt and alcohol with a relatively pungent floral and grassy finish. Medium-bodied; Very deep robust, herbal, floral and incredibly pungent alcohol and malt notes show at first with a lot of pepper and dry grainy notes, but some light grapefruit and citrus finishes, with some subdued medicinal and astringent flavours, with more punch than typical or expected. Aftertaste is pungent, full of alcohol, grain, malt, dry grass and some light citrus and caster sugar, all on top of a good deal of pine and a bunch of pepper - very strong throughout. Overall, super pungent, deep and strong and perhaps overly bitter/grainy, even for the style! Nice to try, but wish it had more of a sweet, alpha acid bitterness, instead of just the pungent grain. I sampled this sixteen ounce, pint-sized can, purchased from Whole Foods in Arlington (Pentagon City), Virginia on 21-February-2020 for US$3,25 sampled on the same day at home in Washington on 21-February-2020 a few blocks away.

Can at home. Lighter pour for a dipa decent sized white head. Nose is tropical fruit and raw pizza dough. Tastes of pineapple, mango skin, grapefruit, doughy, shallots, little pesticide. Astringent mouthfeel.

16 ounce can, March 3rd canning.

A: Served at cellar temperature, it pours a hazy yellow gold with oodles of billowy foam.

S: Pine, grapefruit, bit of onion, malty background.

T: Grapefruit, pine, tropical fruit, lesser of the onion than in the smell. Throughoutevery sip, a comfortable malt sweetness.

M: Substantial mouthfeel.

O: A very nice and drinkable DIPA!

16oz can pours a hazy hold with lots of soapy, lacing, white head.  Nose is bright with guava, passion fruit, curd, pineapple, soap, fresh cream.  Flavor is bitter with orange and tangerine, guava, mango, grass, some oats/grits here, honey comb.  Full bodied, creamy, bitter finish.  Well done.
