The first Khaos sold out that fast, that we had to repeat it with our friends of Skøllmann! Again a Black NEIPA, but this time with HBC1019.

330ml can at De Filosoof, Maldegem. Pours a very dark brown with a beige head. Aromas & tastes of coffee, oak, chocolate, hints of tropical fruits, soft hops & roasted malt. Medium body. Smooth finish.

Can from Stacks.
A: hazy black, small, foamy, beige head.
A: coffee bean, old fondant, grapefruit peel, pine, chestnut.
T: sweetish brambleberry, bitter fondant, pine, toast.
F: earthy, bit piney hops, coffee roast.
P: medium body, slick texture, soft carbonation.
I remember the original being a bit more complex, still enjoyable.

Pretty cloudy dark brown beer, small creamy dense beige head, a little stable, falls down quickly. Aroma: nice, gentle roast, fruity, some blackberries, a hint of coffee, some banana, a hint of blueberry jam, a bit grassy, hoppy, some citrus notes. MF: soft to no carbon, medium body, creamy texture. Taste: nice, good roast up front, slightly sweet, caramel malts, some dark forest fruits, pretty hoppy, bitter, a little grassy, nice! Aftertaste: good bitterness, nice roast, sweet touch, caramel touch, hoppy, pretty zesty, some grapefruit, a hint of alcohol, hoppy.
