Pours a dark brown with a creamy beige head. Aroma of malts, yeast, ripe dark fruit, caramel, spices. Taste is fruity, candy sugar, medium sweet. This is a nice Christmas brew.

Bottle 0,33ltr: Dark brown coloured brew with an good dried fruits, chocolate and caramel taste. Als some spicy hints too.

Slaapmutske Christmas, Fläschchen von Jef. - Tiefdunkles Kastanienrotbraun, dunkler Schaum. - In der Nase sattes, süßes dunkles Malz, Melanoidine, Bitterkakao, leichte obergärige Frucht, Kirsche, matte Hopfung. - Antrunk satt aber etwas flach melanoidinmalzig mit plumper Süße, Kaffee, Bitterkakao, Assoziationen von Cola. Noten von Kirschsaft, leise Gewürze. Milder rezent, leichter als ein Bier dieser Stärke sein sollte. Kaum merkliche Hopfung. Im Abgang mild röstmalzbitter. - Zu flach, zu süß und zu schwach gehopft um mich zu überzeugen. (22.12.2023.)

330ml bottle from BierHuis. Gluten Free. Dark brown colour with big foamy beige head leaving lacing and aroma of sweet malt, grain, toffee, chocolate. Taste is malty, grains, caramel, toffee, powdered chocolate, with some fruity bitterness. Medium bodied, soft carbonation, tangy fruity bitter finish. Quite drinkable.

33cl bottle from Prik & Tik Dranken Marlou. F: big, tan, long lasting. C: dark brown, hazy, opaque. A: sweet malty, chocolate, bit coffee, cocoa, dried fruits, caramel, bit herbal. T: medium to full malty base, chocolate, coffee, cocoa, caramel, dried fruits, herbal, medium dry on the palate, brown sugar, soft carbonation, nice balanced for the style, enjoyed for sure.

Rocky light brown head left a froth on a rich mahogany coloured still body. Caramel, malt & spiced aroma. Medium bodied, well carbonated with tingly cloying back. Sweet berries, caramel, chocolate & spiced tastes with a tangy & peppery finish. It's nice!
