(Cask at Cock Tavern, Hackney, London, 19 May 2023) Reddish amber colour with frothy, tan head. Malty, slightly roasted nose with notes of caramel, red fruit, toast and a touch of black-currant. Malty, roasted taste with caramel, red fruit, dried apricots and a generous earthy bitterness in the finish. Medium body, quite dry. Tasty and well made bitter, with an interesting hop profile. And it has the name of an In Flames album. Very nice.

Cask @ Port Street Beer House, Manchester. Copper-red with a small head. Gritty malty bitter, which is mildly burnt in aroma and taste with a few chocolate malts apparent.

Cellar clean out session. Light haze on this deep amber beer, tidy pale cream colour head. Palate is light, dry and has modest fine carbonation. Bitterish toffee - caramel in the malts. A little ripe fruit. Bitter floral dry finish. No Jester brightness here, shame.
