For this series of 7 beers, we’re going to be highlighting a beacon of beer culture, known across the world for its humble importance. We’re going to the pub!
And what better beer to mark the occasion with than an Extra Extra Special Bitter.
At a boisterous 6.2% and chock full of classic marmalade and caramel notes, this EESB’s drinkability belies its decadence.

Can. Near clear amber beer, small bubbly pale tan head. Smooth palate, light and mildly dry, decent fine minerally carbonation on the back end. A touch of creamy malt with a much bigger wallop of unsweet caramel. The trio of English hops bring soft pine, ripe fruits, orchard fruits and a little bruised citrus. Light finish. Tasty bitter, nicely balanced and very quaffable

My Patron Saint Project Beer#5, today celebrating Saint Cajetan, Patron Saint of the Unemployed through a Patrons Project brew. Quite a sweet ESB, so a lower-end bitterness found here. Lots of body, sticky-sweet texture.
