170ml draught at Ølhallen. Clear copper coloured body, fair lacing from a tiny off-white head. Plain caramel aroma, lightly roasted. Mixed taste of caramel malts and dried fruits. Rounded malt-driven tail, slightly roasted. Medium bodied. Nice enough. (Tromsø, 29.01.2026).

Murky brown colour, steady beige head. Caramalt,bready malty aroma. Medium-bodied. Toffee, crisp carbonation, maltyness, low bitterness. Okish.

AIH205. Ambery brown colour, mediumsized white foamy head. Aroma is caramel, some toffee and mild toasted tones with a bit of nutty tones. Flavour is nutty, caramelly, mildly toasted with some toffee and mild wooden tones. Clean brown ale.

440 ml can, at Cardinal, Stavanger. ABV is 5.5%. Hazy brown colour, large off-white head. Aroma of brown malts, caramel and brown bread. Flavour with the same elements, roast malts and distinct bittering hops in the dry finish. Rich mouthfeel.

Notater fra en hyggelig Mi2-kveld i utmerket selskap på Cardinal. Etter seks ulike fatøl er vi nå i gang med kveldens breddemønstring av hele seks nye boksøl fra Wettre: lett uklar kobbergylden med fint skum som varer. Ristet brød, havrekjeks, ristede hasselnøtter, litt kaffe og karamell. Ok urtebitterhet i avslutningen.

Can. Foggy brown with a finger-thick beige head. Lacing. Roasted malts, coffee notes, nuttyness and fruit hints in the aroma. Full body, pleasant carbonation, good bitterness. Quite dry. Dark malts driven flavor, coffee, roasted malts, hazelnut notes, some dark dried fruit. Lasting finish. A decent brown ale for sure, still a bit dull. 250328

YG. Pale amber color with a beige head. Aroma and flavor is yeast, fruit, malt, roasted malt, pine, coffee, caramel, pine, nuts, dried fruit. Decent.
