Shaker pint draft at The Burg & Barrel in Overland Park, Kansas. The pour is a mostly clear yellow golden with a small white head. The aroma is a slightly sweet floral, honey with a traditional Saison yeast and a faint dank body odor towards the back. The taste is the floral honey sweet, hay, Saison yeast and soft earth dank in the finish. The palate is medium bodied with a soft unfiltered mouth feel. Sweet lingering aftertaste. Solid.

Can - pours a hazy gold with a soapy, lasting head - nose of rustic grains, white pepper, lemongrass, orange - soft texture - low carbonation - medium dry and lightly tart, with some tangy citrus, light pepper, mild fruit esters - finish ends lightly sweet with a little banana and clove, ending more like a hefe - fairy good, really, and I found four packs on sale for 4.99, so, score.

Tallboy can purchased at College Liquors in Grand Junction Colorado. Poured into Uerige glass that was on discount at the same store for 99 cent. Big head atop hazy golden body. It’s a Saison from Kansas so expectations must be low but I think this is pretty decent with grainy and light banana esters on the nose but the the lightness and the graininess makes it nice. An orange slice flavor from the esters is cool with a soft doughy malt backbone. A little sweet a little thick but not too bad and either direction. Heck I like it and if I had to have a can of Saison, especially from the Midwest, this would do the trick

500ml can. Hazy orange-yellow body. Foamy, massive white head. Medium bodied, along the lines of a grissette, a little more delicate and less yeast centered than the US versions that plagued the country a 5-10 years ago. Some clove, banana, high temp flavors. OK, a little underwhelming.

Can. A- Banana, bubble gum, coriander, cardamom, citrus. A- Golden color, hazy liquid, white head. T- Banana, Belgian yeast, straw, orange peel, coriander. P- Light body, average texture, average carbonation, spiced finish. O- More like a bad wit than a saison. Smells refreshing and balanced but doesn’t translate into the taste. Meh. I like the simplicity and design of the can but that means nothing.

16 oz. can purchased at Beertopia, Omaha, NE. Hazy golden color in a chalice. Aroma is light citrus, spicy yeast and wheat.

The flavor is mild citrus, wheat base and a lasting spicy yeast finish. Body is on the lighter end but it is under 5%. Very drying texture. No issues. Rather easy to drink.
