Draught @ All In Beer Fest. Pours vicous black with a creamy mocha head that leaves a small trace on the glass while dissipating. Smell is malty and tiny fruity with roasted malts, dark bread, burnt caramel, vanilla fudge, charred wood, dark roast coffee, dark chocolate, raisins, molasses and hints of brandy alcohol. Taste is heavy sweet, bitter, malty and tiny fruity. Mouthfeel is fat, syrupy, cloying, round, slightly astringent, slightly boozy and medium to full bodied. Finish is heavy sweet and slightly bitter with roasted malts, burnt caramel, toffee, vanilla fudge, charred wood, dark roast coffee, dark chocolate, raisins, moist soil and brandy alcohol. Way too sweet to be enjoyable. Just tone that down slightly and this could be great.
