Bottle, 14%. Pungent port or sherry aroma, some coffee, seems oxidised. Black colour. Almost no head. Looks oily. The flavour is fruity and very sweet. Jammy, apricot notes, slightly citric but not enough to balance the sweetness. Quite a mouthful. Interesting and good in small quantities.

33 cl bottle. Pours pitch black with a small tan head. Aroma is roasted, slight earthy and dark malty. Sweet, toasted and caramelish. Toffee, rich malty, dextrose sweet. Roasted and slight fruity finish.

33 cl bottle @ Rotterdam. Batch #133: BBE 24.11.2018. Aroma has soy sauce, licorice, alcohol and mild rubbery notes. Flavour has alcohol, rubbery notes, licorice and mild herbal notes. Finishes with deep roastiness and malty tones. Too much alcohol and a bit too salty too.

330ml bottle @ Rotterdam, Helsinki. Pours pitch black with a sticky brown head. Aroma of roasty malts, licorice, liquor, alcohol, cognac, wood, oak, toffee, vanilla and herbs. Taste is sweet, complex and heavy with some wood, oak, cognac, licorice, liquor and toffee. Finish is sweet, roasty and stingy woody with some warming alcohol and liquor notes. Quite sweet and boozy slow sipper.

Bottle at Beer Hunters, Pori. Opaque dark brown color, small steady brownish head. Aroma has cognac, booze, roasted malts. Full-bodied. Very sweet. Cognac, fruity, sticky, dark malts. Some hops in the finish. Interesting. The worth of ageing.

Bottle from Toft Vin, Copenhagen - black with a large brown head. The aroma and taste here is stunning, a great balance of sweet and roasted malts, big chocolate prominence, coffee, lovely dark fruity notes of prunes and raisins, cognac infused wooden nuances, delicate oily vinous mouthfeel, damn this is good.

Bottle @ Fermentoren, Aarhus. Nice head with good duration. Color is black. Aroma and taste are roast malt, chocolate, cocoa, nuts, caramel, coconut and hops. Nice.

Bottle @ Fermentoren, Aarhus. Black with a lasting brown head. Aroma is sweet, roasted malt, coffee, chocolate and cognac. Flavor is very sweet and rather bitter. Sweet and rather bitter finish with warming finish. Oily. 101215

Sample at All In Beer Fest. Black with beige head. Aroma of roasted malt, chocolate, with some boozy feeling to it. Taste of more chocolate, coffee, roasted malt. Full body with a well rounded boozy finish and a little bit sticky sweetness.

Draught at All In Beer Fest 2015. Opaque black liquid with medium tan head. Aroma of raw sugar, wood, wort, vanilla, red berries, toast and bread. Taste is high sweet and light bitter with notes of chocolate, wood, sugar, raw sugar and caramel. Full bodied with low to medium carbonation. Sticky mouthfeel. Extremely sweet. Diabetes straight away.
