Of course, as the Official Beer of Record Store Day, we had to create a special brew for the occasion! Insert Beer To Drink Music To. This Belgian-style Tripel is brewed with sweet orange peel, green cardamom, peppercorns and vanilla. It’s the perfect marriage of beer and music and best when paired with some of your favorite tunes.
Clocking in at 9% ABV, Beer To Drink Music To is a golden orange brew with forward notes of toffee, cardamom, cloves and subtle notes of vanilla.

Getting ready for Tottenham with a Ba% beer. Taste like a Tripel. Sweet.
Worst Belgian tripel I've ever had, still good, but lacking body and where's the yeast?!?!

This was poured into a chalice.
The appearance was a delicate hazy amber color with a nice transparency about it. Carbonation could be seen rising in the center at a moderate pace to fill a slim finger-ed quickly dissipating head. No lacing.
The smell had some subtle sweet grassy tones over top of some light spices. Vanilla is barely there.
The taste had a dry sweetness running through some light spice.
On the palate, this one seemed to be just a tad lighter than some other Tripels I’ve had. Has a decent sessionability about it for being 9%, really doesn’t feel that way. Carbonation feels fairly low.
Overall, hmmmm...well, honestly, it’s alright kind of beer. I don’t see it as one that’s over the top. All mentioned flavors do seem a bit weaker than DFH says that’s there, maybe again...not sure.

Pours deep gold into a tulip. Bright white head with medium retention recedes to skim surface. Toffee and spice aromas. Sweet caramel, pepper and mild earthy hop upfront turning to marshmallow and clove in the lasting hot finish.

Bottle from Bert’s Crystal clear dark golden color with a smallish off white head. Spicy earthy character with bits of alcohol heat and flavor with a touch of vanilla and honey like maltiness. Its a bit too spicy for my tastes.
