Schönes dunkles Kupfer im Glas. In der Nase reife Trauben, Holzfass, Malz. Im Trunk cremig, Trauben, dann alkoholisch, Tartbitterschokolade, hinten Burbon-Whisky. Wird mit jedem Schluck komplexer. Vorsichtig genießen.

Sampled @ 10th Danish Ratebeer Gathering, Ulfborg, Day 1. Hazy reddish / brown color, small off-white to beige head. Aroma is malts, a sweet maltiness, overripe fermenting fruits, whisky. Tastes about the same; malts, malt bitter, whisky, alcohol bitter in the finish, overripe fruits in the background. The whisky is very present, maybe a bit too much or perhaps the base beer isn’t thick enough to carry the heavy barrel aging. Still, a decent beer, but heavy. Tastes like a lot more than 9.2% ABV. Firm alcohol burn in the finish.

Mild würziger, alkoholisch getreidiger Antrunk. Trocken, Noten von Roggen, der Alkohol bleibt prägend. Geringe Süffigkeit, mild würzig, etwas brotig. Okay... 8/9/8/7/9/8
