440ml can shared at a session with Leif and Finn. Brown-orange coloured body, hazy, off-white head, spotty lacing. Inviting aromas of toffee and dark fruits. Fine balanced taste of lightly spiced malts, including caramel and chocolate moments. Rounded, lightly roasted, finish. Well bodied. Like it. (Tromsø, 04.02.2026).

440 ml can, from Vinmonopolet Stavanger Tasta. ABV is 7.5%. Dark brown colour, large to moderate beige head. Aroma of malts, caramel, brown kandij sugar, dark dried fruits and Christmas spices. The flavour has the same elements, but is not too sweet. Spices and a moderate hop bitterness in the finish.

0,44 injeksjon på bursdagen: mørk kastanjefarge med fint skum som varer lenge. Tørkede frukter (særlig fiken/svisker), syltede plommer, hint av lynghonning og chokolade. Mild bitterhet i avslutningen uten at det blir for søtt. Kjempekurant koseøl, jeg tror jeg legger inn en ny bestilling.

Can @ home. Unclear amber body under a medium sized tan head. Arom ais malt, caramel and something else best described as some kind of spices. Tast is balanced sweet malt, soft toffee, some dry fruit, coffee and well-integrated alcohol. Low bitterness. It’s a quite likable beer, very smooth, still it almost to kind and kinda anonym, easy down the throat and soon forgotten.
