Bottle thanks to a trade! Pours black with a dark brown head that dissipates slowly to the edges. Aroma has lots of dark grains and roasted malts with a nice dryness supporting. Flavor has bitter dark grains throughout with some dark chocolate, roasted malts and a dry finish.

Bottle from the source. Pours jet black with a thick and creamy brown head with good retention and solid lacing. Aroma of chocolate, dark candied fruit, espresso. Taste has dark roast coffee, cocoa powder, licorice. Delicious.

375 ml bottle thanks to SHIG. 2014 printed on the label. Nice lasting tan head with a great mild chocolate and oak aroma.

The mouthfeel is soft and creamy with a dense texture that makes it feel like it is stronger than 7.5%. The flavor is oak dominate with chocolate and muted vanilla tones. Lingering oak after the swallow. Secondary hints of dark fruits. Nice.

Thanks Sean for sending.
This was poured into a mini-snifter.
The appearance was a dark brown close to black color with no head nor lacing.
The smell had a huge roasted coffee bean up front with ample amounts of cocoa and then a slice of vanilla sweetness to heighten a light bourbon flavor.
The taste was roasty and sweet through vanilla, cocoa and coffee bean. It starts to get a tad woody and brings in to combine in the aftertaste delicately. A slightly sticky finish runs about nicely.
On the palate, this one sat about a medium on the body with the subtle roasty qualities laying across my tongue in a really nice fashion.
Overall, foreign/export stout - yes and on top of it, bourbon barreled, even better, of course I’d have it again.

Bottle won at GNHC raffle: Poured a black with red edges, finger light brown colored head. Aroma has strong oak with sweet malt. Nice blend of vanilla and malt, hint of dark chocolate.
