500ml can. Pours black with a tan head. Aroma of chocolate, biscuit, marshmallows. Taste is sweet, milk chocolate, marshmallows, biscuity, just a touch of coffee bitterness at the end. Light-medium bodied... bit thinner than expected, which makes me wonder what the lactose was for.

I only saw reindeer on my one trip into the Arctic Circle. Black with a small head. Chocolate driven cask pour, low sweetness, quite smooth, with a strength not evident in taste but demands slower supping, providing plenty of body. Chocolate aroma too.

Cask at Chester Station Tap. Pours almost black with a medium sized foamy beige head and good lacing. There’s sweet malts, dough and honey in the aroma. In the mouth it is quite sweet with a creamy texture. Flavour has roasted malts, lactose and coffee plus hints of honey and custard. Alcoholic strength and a hint of bitterness come through later though the finish remains a little sweet. This is decent.
