Light, clean burning. Classic Euro pils, but from the Last Frontier. Thanks, NFB!

(tap) clear, bright yellow amber colour with a small white head; aroma of fruit; balanced flavour with a long, light bitter finish; very nice - light and fruity. It lacks the noble hops character that is strong in traditional old world pilzners - which makes it a re-interpretation of the style - but it also makes it more approachable and pleasant (unless you really like noble hops)

Golden, looks a bit flat, apples on the nose with some slightly gluey pale malts, moderate bitterness, but nothing pilsner level. Reminds me of a hoppier Russian lager as much as anything.

Very hazy golden and light orange coloured body with a thick, two centimetre tall just off-white head - this one looks very nice and not very pilsner-like at all! Aroma of pale malt, hay, grass and very little else. Light-bodied; Sharp malt and metallic flavours at first with a subdued apple and pear sweetness, but the bitterness shows much stronger than expected. Aftertaste is a little one-sided with the malt and metallic flavours the strongest and the bitterness quite large. Overall, a deep and strong flavoured beer with no mild and sweet tastes, just pungent notes and a deep bitterness. I sampled this twelve ounce can purchased from La Bodega in Anchorage, Alaska on 04-October-2013 for US$1.70 sampled at home across the whole of the country in Washington on 21-February-2014.

Draft: Poured a orange golden color with a finger white lacing head. Light perfume aroma. Taste is nice smooth grain and soft bitter hops. Nice session beer.
