Dark brown, nitro head. Chocolately character, very sweet up front but with a touch of balancing hop. Ok, but there are more complex examples in AK.

Pitch black coloured body with a thin tan head. Aroma of oatmeal (naturally), coffee and caramel. Full-bodied; Nice raisin and caramel sweetness in the taste with a touch of nuts and oatmeal. Aftertaste clean, mostly sweet with a touch of roasted malt. Overall, a decent oatmeal - on the lighter and sweeter side of the style, but still a decent beer and of course great to try. I sampled this pint on draught at the brewpub in Anchorage, Alaska on 26-June-2010.
