Can thanks to Shaun! Pours a near clear orange with a slight gold hue and a white head that dissipates to the edges. Aroma has a good amount of citrus with some light spice and some sweet grain backing. Flavor has a nice citrus note with a dry finish and some sweet grains supporting.

At Capital Brew fest.
This was poured into a mini snifter.
The appearance was a fairly nice looking hazy somewhat golden orange color with a slim dancing lacing around the glass.
The smell was a nice grassy orange to light grapefruity conglomeration of sorts to lead to a nice dry piney - ness of sorts.
The taste followed the nose very well.
On the palate, this one sat about a light to medium on the body with a fairly decent sessionability about it. The carbonation was there and slightly sharp but not overbearing. Still, there was a nice bitter sharpness coming over my tongue as an expecting AIPA should be.
Overall, pretty good AIPA that I know I would down again if I could get it on a regular basis. I certainly hope Broken Tooth is reading this.

A lightly hazed amber IPA with a thin white head. In aroma, sweet malt with faint floral hops. In mouth, a smooth sweet malt with lingering British hops, herbal, not bad. On tap at Humpy’s Oct. 9 2011.
