Lager au houblon Nelson Sauvin
—

Can: Poured a clear pale yellow color lager with a large white foamy head with great retention and some lacing. Aroma of cereal notes with some nice vinous dry hoppy notes. Taste is also a mix of clean cereal notes with some floral dry hoppy notes and dry vinous notes. Body is about average for style with good carbonation. Great lager but not sure these NZ hops were absolutely required.

A clean, light golden colour with a frothy white cap, good stay and lots of sticky, foamy lacing. Aromas of spicy malts for base, some white grapes, caramel malts and a touch of wet socks, yeastiness. The taste shows more herbal Pilsner notes, with more grassiness than the nose. Some mild spiciness, but the yeast that bugs me a tad (like their Obilisques West Coasts) is also found here. Much preferred my first one, had from the can - so it would block this yeasty, wet sock things.

A golden lager with a thin lacing white head. In aroma, crisp biscuit malt with grassy German hops, light mineral notes, pleasant. In mouth, a nice crisp biscuit malt grassy German hops, light mineral notes, light cereal, well done. On tap at De la Gappe location.
