Hops:- Fuggles, Prima Donna, Centennial.
last of our three collaborations with Manchester Hop Project this Harvest season. In 2023, with the help of their band of budding local hop growers, we were able to actualise our dream of brewing our first-ever Green Hop beer and we are delighted to carry on this new tradition and brew this beer for a third successive year.
The result is a crisp Golden Ale with a bready malt character that gives way to an assertive and long bitterness. We get fresh bread, biscuit crumb with a delicate citrus zip. A real ode to the traditional ales that we were reared on and wrapped in the beautiful designs of @cherylmaslen.

440 ml can, from Left Field Beer, England. ABV is 4.8%. Clear and pale golden colour, small white head. Aroma of malts, honey, flowers, a hint of herbal hops. Refreshing flavour with the same elements, some bitterness in the aftertaste.

Panda thanks to Cloin. Bright clear slightly pale gold beer, small bubbly off white head. Light palate, a mild dryness, decent fine minerally carbonation. Light smooth pale malts, a touch of smooth grain under the very light malt cream. Prima Donna hops? First Gold FFS! Anyway, light cooling pine into typically English hops citrus, bright, slightly floral, trace of pith. Light finish. Nicely done, very English but delivered in a craft beer way.

weridly metallic, thin, lagerish if anything but the mouthfeel is strange all around. Has zero head retention, shows no hop character

Foamy white head on an unclear loosely carbonated pale golden coloured body.
Fudge, caramel & fruity hop aroma.
Medium bodied, soft on the tongue with a tingly back & cloying aft.
Biscuit, bread, malt, lime, resinous & pine tastes with a bitter finish.
Nicely balanced.
