Pours dark, farilt clear bougondy red. Scent is intense, fleshy fruits ( apple mostly, but has some berry quality by the blueberry) . Milder but present honey. sweet, rich impression; Taste is fairly intense. Fairly thick. Starts sweet but has a certain dry, tanninic profile from the apple. blueberry spices and fruits things up to an interesting profile.

750ml swing top bottle pours with a deep dark purple body that tosses up a bit of legginess. The aroma offers up loads of fresh blueberry as well a thin cinnamon spice, a woody sensation and then some booze at the end of the draw. The taste is hitting the spot right now with a honey sweetened pulse of rich berry nectar like fruitiness and then it picks up blueberry and a semi tart berry skin tannin sensation to midway. It ends fairly dry and feeling a little thin in body. Solid.

A burgundy red mead with aroma of tart apples, light blueberry, light honey, alcohol warmth, pepper notes, very nice. In mouth, a nice sweet honey with blueberry jam, light acidity, boozy warmth, nice and complex. Bottle at meadery.

Bottle courtesy of Hackobock. Pours deep blue leaving some subtle legs on the glass with a swirl. Smell is fruity with pale honey, sweet yellow apples, blueberries, pollen, hay, minerals, lemon peal and hints of alcohol. Taste is sweet, tiny sour and heavy fruity. Mouthfeel is soft, round, tiny oily, tart, tiny boozy and medium to full bodied. Finish is sweet and tiny sour with honey, yellow apples, blueberries and alcohol. Very nice blend of al components. Not hugely honey heavy but the sweet apples and blueberries make up for that.

Bottle at Superstition, pours a deep dark mahogany. Aroma brings out loads raspberries upfront, followed by medium honey nectar notes. Flavour is exquisite, with loads of prominent raspberries upfront, followed by medium honey sweetness. Sweet but nowhere close to cloying. Fantastic stuff.
