Voici Valentia, dans laquelle nous avons intégré plusieurs ingrédients que nous aimons beaucoup pour en faire un dessert noix et chocolat. Nous n’avons pas lésiné sur la quantité d’amande, noix de macadam, et noix de coco avec une touche de vanille. Nous avons ajouté également un peu de café pour équilibrer le tout. Vous y trouverez des notes de brownie aux noix, de tiramisu, de crème glacée au chocolat sur une finale intense et riche.

A real dark brown colour with no highlights, a fizzy mocha-coloured head that dissipates quickly. Getting big chocolate aromas with blending coconut, vanilla, some booze and hints of almond. Silky, oily mouthfeel with a touch of dryness in the end. Thick milk chocolate flavours with some nice nuttiness, and again - not getting much coffee. A tad bitterness in the finish maybe, and the vanilla is very well-balanced. Quite a delicious Imperial Sweet Stout, that is not overly sweet - going down nicely, even before supper.

Bottle: Poured a pitch-black color stout with a dark brown foamy head with some retention and some lacing notes. Aroma of chocolate notes with some nutty flavour and floral coffee notes. Taste is also a mix of chocolate notes with some nutty flavours and nice floral coffee notes with some vanilla notes and residual sugar notes. Body is full with an oily texture and good carbonation with no discernible alcohol notes. Very well balanced pastry stout with nice flavor and good drinkability.

A deep dark stout with a very thin brown head. In aroma, sweet fruity chocolate malt with dark fruits, coconut cream vanilla, alcohol warmth, very nice. In mouth, a nice sweet fruity chocolate malt with dark fruits, coconut cream, vanilla, alcohol warmth, graham crackers, very nice. On tap at De la Gappe location.
