750 ml bottle purchased at Julio's Liquors. Nose is earthy notes, pepper and hay. Flavor is straw, honey, and soil. Grassy... Chewy yeast. Medium-bodied, with effervescent mouthfeel leading into a bone dry texture. Pretty good, completely different from the previous years that I remember. Overall, rather grassy.

0.375 l bottle from 'Braukunstladen', bottled in March 2017. A bit hazy, golden amber with a massive, dense, stable, white head. Sweetish, floral-grassy, fruity-spicy and slightly yeasty aroma of lemon peel, fresh grass, clove and some pineapple. Slightly sweetish, moderately bitter, fruity-grassy, floral, quite dry slightly yeasty-spicy taste of fresh grass, lemon peel, pineapple, clove and some chalk, followed by a medium long, moderately bitter, fairly dry, slightly peppery-spicy, grassy and minimally tartish finish. Medium body, moderately effervescent mouthfeel, average to lively carbonation. Excellent Saison, well-crafted and refreshing.

From tap at Café Congé, Ghent, shared with Anke. Pours hazy yellow with a small, frothy, white head. The aroma contains yeast, hops, herbs, spices, bread, wheat and some fruits. It tastes light sweet and medium to heavy bitter, with a dry, wheaty and spicy finish. Medium body, slick texture, fizzy carbonation. Not exactly my thing, though still well executed.

Bottle. Hazy golden body with a huge, frothy white head full lasting. Aroma of spice, toasted grain, mustiness, floral hops, lemon. The flavor is moderately sweet and lightly bitter. It finishes lightly sweet and moderately bitter. Medium body, velvety texture, lively carbonation. Bone dry finish. The harshest version of the dry hopping series I've had. Extra bitterness and a bit of astringency in the finish with hints of plastic and nail polish remover. Smells good, looks great, feels good, but ...
